He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Carter and Doris Carter; his brother Michael W. Carter; and his wife June Carter. He is survived by: his children, Erik Carter (Julie) and Kellie Boles; his grandchildren, Dillon, Drew, Cali, Braedan, Cooper and Ella; his sister-in-law Jennifer Carter; and his stepson David Scott (Lisa).
