She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay O. Dowling and Ethel May Dowling; her husband Hugh R Carpenter; and her children, Lynda L. Weninger and Kendall S. Carpenter.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron (Terri) of Wichita, Randy of Wichita, Rycke (Kelly) of Wichita and Kris Carpenter (Rita) of Wichita; and her siblings, Sharon Dougherty (Larry), Gary Dowling (Ann) and David Dowling (Vicki). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Faith Renewal Church.
