She was predeceased by: her mother Vera. She is survived by: her daughter Deb Gruver; her son-in-law Joshua Wood; and her sister Donna Hopkins. She is also survived by two nieces; one nephew.
Memorials may be made in her name to StepStone, which serves survivors of domestic violence and their children, or the Kansas Humane Society.
