We bid farewell to Varon William Harvey Jr. (Wichita, Kansas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Varon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Kathryn Harvey (Davis) of Marietta, Oklahoma. and Varon, Sr. Harvey; his granddaughter Jessica Jennings; and his sister Nancy Koenig. He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Harvey (Sheila) and Bridget Harvey of Wichita; his grandchildren, Michael Harvey, Jennifer Tran and Heather Kane; and his sisters, Marilyn Montrastelle of Newburgh and Linda Olcese of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (861 N Socora St, Wichita, KS 67212). A Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

A memorial has been established with: Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 East Rockhill Street, Suite #403, Wichita, Kansas 67206.

“Bill was a good friend for over 50 years and we had many good times and shared life happenings with each other. Though I moved from Wichita to Florida more than 20 years ago, we visited Bill when Joyce and I were in town and talked every 2-3 weeks on the phone. He was a good friend may he RIP. Love and condolences to Bill, Sheila and Bridget and to all his extended family.”
