She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Luethye; her son Mike Luethye; her daughter-in-law Michaela Luethye; her parents, Clement Brown and Lelia Brown; and her sister Mary York.

She is survived by: her daughter Karen Smit (David); her grandchildren, Ian Smit, Brian Smit, Larissa Arnold (Thomas), Jason Luethye, Brandon Luethye and Aimee Depenbrock (Klaus); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Ben, Jonah, Wesley, Neil, Sebastian, Christopher and Amelia.
