She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence "Shorty" E. Soupene and Mildred Mary Soupene (Nelson); her spouse Francis W. Hinkle; and her siblings, Ravone Griffin, Burke Soupene and Marilyn Soupene.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Hinkle, Martin Hinkle (Julie) and Roger Hinkle (Tara); her grandchildren, Robyn Taylor, Cory Hinkle (Lexi) and Ava Hinkle; her great grandchildren, Anzley Taylor, Leighton Gallimore and Atticus Hinkle; and her sisters, Wanda Shutt and Karen Clark (Bill). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home West (2929 W 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67203). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens (1806 N Oliver St, Wichita, KS 67208).
