He was predeceased by: his wife Kim; his parents, Bert Cooper and Mary Cooper; and his siblings, Roy Cooper, Leo Cooper, Ruth Kiker, Francis Marling and Virginia Cooper.
He is survived by: his daughter Helen Kirchgessner (Kevin); his sisters, Patsy Cooper, Karen Miles and Sharon Ashley; and his grandsons, Jonathan Steven Edwards, Dennis Robert Scott Edwards, Stephen Michael Jones and Joseph Alexander Kirchgessner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Broadway Mortuary (1147 S Broadway, Wichita, KS 67211). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the El Paso Cemetery (700 E Kay St, Derby, KS 67037).
