Rafer Onwiler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rafer Onwiler of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Onwiler and Ellen Hunter Ruiz; his grandparents, Hugh and Ruth Hunter; his uncle Richard Hunter; and his cousins, Marcy Hunter, Meredith Hunter and Lou Hunter.
He is survived by: his sister Julie; his brother-in-law Randy Conrad of Wichita, Kansas; his nephews, Dylan Conrad (Amanda) of Charlotte and Logan Conrad of Wichita, Kansas; and his cousins, Mitch Hunter, Mica Balster (Brian), Milford Hunter (Pennie), Mira Hunter, Steven Hunter, Tina (Rich Pierce) and Michael Hunter (Dessa). He is also survived by many other extended family members and close friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Kiowa United Methodist Church (205 N 9th St, Kiowa, KS 67070). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Health Hospice or Kiowa District Hospital through the funeral home.
