She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Judson Smith and Minnie Pearl Morse Smith (Carroll "Smoke" Duane); and her siblings, Marjorie Lothea Smith Smith, Wallace Arthur Smith, Victor Allen Smith, Merle Gilbert Smith and Clyde Byron Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Frances Gloria Ricker Meyer; her grandson Nathaniel A. K. Watkins; her daughters, Willa Frances, Carolyn Irene Higgs Hutcheson (Brad) and Karen Anne Higgs; her stepson Corkey Rodgers (Judy); her niece Kimberly Ann Boyle; her grandchildren, Nicole Reneé Runberg Lumley (Jimmy), Justin Kyle Runberg (Chelsie), Aaron Bradley Hutcheson, Paris Elizabeth Mairs Gosch (Dalton), Matthew D. K. Watkins (Estrella), KeiraShai Watkins, Michael Rodgers (Lauryn), Adam Rodgers (Amanda) and Sharon Carol Rodgers; her great grandchildren, Anna, Sabyn, Brazen, Aryana, Orin of Holden, J. C., Josie and Jessie; her niece Carol; and her spouse Carroll "Smoke" Higgs.
