He was predeceased by: his parents, Murl Sillaway and Mabel Sillaway; his sister June Sillaway Dixon; and his nephew Donald Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law John Henshall; his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Isabella Henshall; and his nephew David Dixon.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kechi Township Cemetery (6301 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219).
