Mitchell Shanbour Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 92, Mitchell Shanbour (Wichita, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shanbour and Sadie Shanbour; and his brothers, Frederick Shanbour and Alfred Shanbour (Lucy). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Michele Egnatis, Michael "Alan" Shanbour (Makrina), Paula Zarich (Mike) and Christy Babler (Matt); his grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Timothy Egnatis, Rachel, Leah Zarich, Hannah Holmes (Aaron), Alex, Sadie, Sam Babler and Simeon Shanbour; and his great grandchild Nico.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral (7515 E 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67206). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Old Mission Cemetery (3424 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67208).
