Mildred Marie Wampler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Marie Wampler of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hobbs and Virginia Hobbs (Johnson); her husband James Wampler; her daughter Lana; her son-in-law Gene Thomas; her brother Floyd Hobbs; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Hobbs.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Dehart (Sue) of Augusta, KS; her grandchildren, Jeff Thomas (Veronica) of Sandusky, MI, Johnna Freeman (Todd) of Rose Hill, Ronnie Dehart of Harper, Dana Ann Dehart of Argonia and Krista Harrington of Augusta; and her brother Dell Hobbs (Carolyn) of Topeka. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory (201 E 5th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010).
