It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Schemm (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Leo Schemm. He is survived by: his mother Therese Schemm of Lyons, KS; and his brothers, Mark Schemm (Mary Ann) of Topeka, Kevin Schemm of Nashville, TN and Kurt Schemm (Karyn) of Derby, KS..
A vigil service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (430 N Broadway St, Wichita, KS 67202). A Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery (821 N Grand Ave, Lyons, KS 67554).
