We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2025, at the age of 82, Larry Gene Widmer of Wichita, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Widmer and Bertha Widmer of Crosby, Minnesota.; his wife Barbara Turner; his siblings, Shirley Campbell and Harris; and his nephews, Mark Campbell and Keith Widmer.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Arlyce Widmer of Fargo, ND, Darlene Rupp (Bob) of Detroit, MI, Nancy Priest (Dan) of Hemlock, MI and Lynne Turner of Houston; his nephew Greg Campbell (Heidi) of Bedford, IN; and his cousin Peggy Cichos of Fargo, ND..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the University Congregational Church (9209 East 29th St N, Wichita, KS 67226).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Choir Fund at the University Congregational Church.
