He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Lewis and Maxine Evelyn Smith (Mast); and his brother David Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cheri; his siblings, Verna Asbel and Kevin Smith; his children, Nicholas Smith (Christine), Brandon Smith, Adam Smith (Amanda) and Suzanne Smith; and his grandchildren, Skyler, Mason, Anmaree, Fern, Gordon, Sunny and Karma.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home West (2929 W 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67203). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (1806 N Oliver St, Wichita, KS 67208).
