The memory of King C. Krapes of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Krapes and Hellen C. Krapes (King); his wife Joan Krapes (Larkin); his sons, Kevin Krapes and Bruce Krapes; and his siblings, Art Krapes, Bill Krapes, George Krapes, Dorothy and Genevieve.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gayle Lacey (Ronny) of Udall, KS, Rhonda Gillespie of Haysville, KS, Joan Vandyke (Gary) of Wichita, KS and Lori Anderson of Wellington, KS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Affinity All Faiths Mortuary (2850 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67217). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oxford Cemetery.
