She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Ferguson and Arlah Ferguson (Merlin); her stepmother Evelyn; and her stepson Thomas Schroeder. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Heck, Bradley Heck (Jeannie) and Michael Heck; her stepdaughter Janna Walls; her siblings, Nancy Pickett (Irvin) and Wayne Ferguson (Barb); her grandchildren, Jason Heck, Erynn Heck, Benjamin Heck (Ariel), Jeremiah Heck (Tiffany), Alden Heck (Nikki), Addison Schlatter (Kyle) and Avery Heck; and her stepgrandchildren, Zachary Rickett (Christina Nguyen), Shelby Walls, Anya Schroeder and Evan Schroeder. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Downing & Lahey Mortuary (6555 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (5002 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67208).
