She was predeceased by: her husband L. W. Chuck McGovern; her parents, Melvin Sands and Verna Sands; her brothers, Tom and Jim Sands; and her grandson Derek McGovern.
She is survived by: her sons, Patrick, Michael and Casey McGovern; her grandchildren, Tristen, Drake and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Ty, Chesnee, Erica, Maverick, Kohlten and Brooklyn.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Central Christian Church (2900 N Rock Rd, Wichita, KS 67226).
