John Nelson Brooks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Nelson Brooks (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Nelson Brooks to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Brooks and Eva Brooks (White); and his cousin A. J. Brown. He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Elizabeth (Jamison) of Garden Plain, KS; his wife Karen Sternberger; his daughter Stacie Clarkson (Dean) of Afton, OK; his grandchildren, Austin Robinson, Katie Clarkson, Emily Yoder, Kyndall Clarkson, Lance Yoder, Karlie Clarkson and Cody Yoder; his great grandchild Kollin Clarkson-Lumpkins; his sisters, Kaye Julian, Jana Hill (Richard) and Kim Whittle (Gary); and his pet Maggie Mae. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Funeral Home West (2929 W 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67203).
