It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Hunter Jr. in Wichita, Kansas, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James J., Sr. and Florence "Beau" Hunter; his brother-in-law George D. Kirsch; and his nephew Mark Kirsch. He is survived by: his wife Trish Hunter (Callen); his son Jamie (Liesel) of Lakewood, CO; his grandchildren, Max and Taia; and his sisters, Dawn MacDonald, Holly Kirsch, Mary Gable and Denise Behm (Ron). He is also survived by nine nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
A memorial has been established with one of his favorite charities: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
