With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerry Standrich in Wichita, Kansas, born in Pratt, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jerry left this world on February 9, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Jerry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Standrich and Melva Standrich; and his granddaughter Jenna Standrich-Abarca. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Standrich; his daughters, Janelle Standrich (Jake Ring) and Christy Standrich (Brett Baker); his stepmother Lea Ann Standrich; his sister Saundra Jodeen Wells; his granddaughter Riley Bump; his great grandchild Kassius Standrich; and his pets, Casey and ZuZu (Glenn).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cozine Life Events Center (11500 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67206). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (111 KS-2, Anthony, KS 67003).
