He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Thornton and Elsie Thornton (Ostebee); and his sisters, Kathleen Sivert and Martha K. Plank. He is survived by: his wife Ollie A. Thornton (Campbell) of Wichita, KS; his children, Nancy Beach of Wichita, KS, Noralea Cato (Collin) of Wichita, KS and Leanora McCullough (Randall) of Wichita, KS; his brother Archie Thornton of Tulsa, OK; his grandchildren, Shilow Campbell, Preston Leonard and Brandon Cato; his great grandchildren, Devyn Maugans, Brook Maugans and Alexis Maugans; and his great great grandchildren, Raelyn Cox and Laylani Sanders.
