She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cox Jr. and Evelyn Joan Cox (Knight); and her father-in-law James Jensen (Jim). She is survived by: her husband Scott Jensen; her children, Dedra Straka (Joshua), Derrick Metzger (Seri) and Dustin Metzger; her stepson Michael Jensen (Ronalyn); her brother Johnny Cox (Betty); her grandchildren, Adrienne, Dominic, Julienne, Emmalyn, Trevor, Samantha, Johnathon, Aurora and William; and her mother-in-law Jacqueline Jensen. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Culbertson-Smith Mortuary (115 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67213). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the South Lawn Cemetery (1558 20th St, Severy, KS 67137).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Barton School of Business at Wichita State University.
