Thurman of Wichita, Kansas, born in Latham, Kansas, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Michael Ray Thurman; his stepchildren, Rick Cole and Gail Tabor; and his great grandchildren, Celeste and Brianna Tovar.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Cole (Durham); his granddaughter Linda Thurman; his great grandchildren, Rheanna, Cameron and Jade Tovar; his great great grandchildren, Feliciano and Cataleya; his granddaughter Elva Lewis; his great grandchild Kristy Milbourn; his grandson David Thurman; and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Kelsey Thurman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cochran Mortuary & Crematory (1411 N Broadway St, Wichita, KS 67214). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Old Mission Cemetery (3424 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67208).
