He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Oliphant (Franklin) and Arietta Oliphant; and his sister Virginia Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Oliphant; his sons, Joseph F. Oliphant (Rose), James F. Oliphant III (Marie) and Donald J. Oliphant (Vickie); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Oliphant, Zach Oliphant (May), Rebecca Szewczak (Tim), Patricia Oliphant, Nathaniel Oliphant (Erica), Andrew Oliphant and Andrea Wise (Brett). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
