Jacob Patrick Fowler Obituary
Jacob (Jake) Patrick Fowler passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022.
The Rosary will be Thurs- day, April 21, 2022 at 9:30 AM and Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM, at St Joseph Catholic Church in Andale, KS. Reception im- mediately following in the Parish Hall.
Jake graduated in 2020 from Andale high School in the top 10% of his class.
He was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Ath- letes, National Honor Soci- ety, and The Catholic Youth Ministries.
He loved the water, and enjoyed swimming, wake- boarding and camping. He also played baseball, bas- ketball, track and football. His senior year of playing football the Indians brought home the 2019 State Championship Football Title.
He was a volunteer at St Teresa and also had the opportunity for an Internship during the summer of 2019 with Wichita Surgical Specialists and shadowed Dr Nazih Moufarrij, MD. Jake was awarded into the Kansas Honors Program at The Uni-versity of Kansas which he attended in the fall of 2020.
In March 2022 he proposed to his high school sweetheart, Cecelia Reichenberger.
He had this contagious smile and positive attitude that just rubbed off on everyone surrounding him.
He had this incredible love and faith in God at a young age which in turn made a strong foundation for himself as he grew into a young adult.
Jake was preceded in death by his Grandma Carol Fowler, his Papa Jerry Schumacher, Nana Rose McGreevy, and his Uncle Kenny Fowler.
Survived by his fiancé, Cecelia Reichenberger, parents, Linda Schumacher and Craig Fowler, siblings Lenae Cupps, Haley and Luke Fowler.
