It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Backes Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Henry Backes Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Backes Sr. and Hendrika Inkelaar Backes (Sandra); his brothers, Michael and Donald Backes; and his children, Aaron John Backes and Elizabeth Warren.
He is survived by: his children, Henry V. Backes, Gerry Lynn Warren Ferguson, David Warren, Mathew Bradley Backes, Sarah Backes Lahman and Benjamin Backes; and his siblings, Pat Harink, Judy Hampton and Betty Backes. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
