He was predeceased by: his brother Ramiro Valdez. He is survived by: his parents, David Mendez and Cynthia Mendez; his siblings, Jose Lerma (Erica Bañuelos), Jody Lerma (Ricky), Guera Lerma (Armando), Julia Lerma (Tim) and Lydia Ceniceros; and his children, Fernando, Nadia, Dominic, Alissa, Joel, Natalie, Ramiro, Benjamin and Sofia Mendez.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Cochran Mortuary & Crematory (1411 N Broadway St, Wichita, KS 67214). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
