“Cathy & I met Marilyn & Cairlyn @ the funeral. A lot said about his 35 years at Cessna & his personal life. I'd like to add something unmentioned about his dedication to the Wichita Toy Train Club. Met him in 1994; we were successive presidents. Neither of us had asked for that honor, but could say "no" when nominated, out of duty. The eulogy noted Ellis lived his faith "with an engineer's mindset." It reminded me of my own dad, also an engineer - also leading by grace & example. - Bill Laughlin”
