He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Bender Grubb of Ellsworth; his adoptive parents, William Holle and Clara Holle; his birth parents, Cecil and Mildred Grubb; and his sister Daralene Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Edra; his children, Earl Wayne Holle (Lori) of Houston, Texas and Evelyn Ruth Thurston (Phillip) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Brandon Holle (Jamie), Kristin Kascsak (Thes), Amber Schechter (Cole), Jared Thurston (Courtny), Derek Thurston and Alicia Thurston; his great grandchildren, Adalynn, Edward Thurston, Aiden Kascsak and Caleb Holle; and his siblings, Ervin Holle (Karen), Virginia Dolezal (Charles) and Jane Kohls.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (842 N Tyler Rd, Wichita, KS 67212).
