It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Ervin Hancock of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hancock and Doris Hancock (Holmes); his siblings, Don, Jerry, Kenny and Margie Kiser; and his grandsons, Remington Hancock and Tyler Melton.
He is survived by: his brother Ralph Hancock (Claudia); his wife LaNelle; his children, Scott Hancock (Lori) and Susan Reed (Amy Melton) of Ada, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Morse (Austin), Nicole Morse, Brittany Melton, Laramie Reed (Heaven), Adelia Hancock, Sadie Reed, Spencer Hancock, Kelsey Hancock and Alexander Hancock. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
