With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Duane K. Harms (Wichita, Kansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Harms and Mildred Harms (Molzen); his spouse Avenell Elliott; his stepson Stuart Elliott; and his great grandchildren, Joel and Henry Armijo.
He is survived by: his children, David Harms (Gail) of Brenham, Texas and Elizabeth Slack (Derek) of Larned, Kansas; his stepsons, Kent Elliott (Pam) of Kansas City and Roger Elliott (Pat) of Stilwell, Kansas.; and his grandchildren, Molly, Carrie, Kerby, Max, Angeline, Mary, Kelsey, Thomas, Rodette, Kara and Luke. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the University United Methodist Church (2220 N Yale Ave, Wichita, KS 67220).
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with University United Methodist Church and United Methodist Open Door.
