He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dunlap and Sophia Dunlap (Stroda); his daughter Rhonda Thorpe Thomas; and his siblings, George A. Dunlap, Robert L. Dunlap, Mary Ann Dunlap and Kathleen Kay Dunlap.
He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Susie Taylor (Jay), Jan Stuhlsatz (Doug), Deborah Gorges (Mark) and Tammie Pepin (David); his grandchildren, Danielle, Taylor Gibson, Sarah Raper (Tony), Amanda, Ethan, Reid Stuhlsatz, Stacy McCollum (Jeff), Robert Gorges, Wesley Gorges (Paige), Kim Rhinehart (Stephen) and Kristy Gooch (Jason); and his great-grandkids, Brooke, George, Carter, Ryan, Emma, Eli and Lillie.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Downing & Lahey East Mortuary (6555 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206). A Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (124 N Roosevelt St, Wichita, KS 67208).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218 in honor of his deceased wife, Grace; and Catholic Charities Harbor House, 437 N. Topeka St., Wichita, KS 67202 in honor of his deceased daughter Rhonda Thorpe Thomas.
