He is survived by: his brother Eddie Hughes (Donna); his niece Tessa Dean (David); his great-nieces, Kala Catherine, Melody Rose, Amanda Hughes (Jason Thorpe) and Maci Lynn Thorpe; his nephew Douglas Logan Hughes; his great-niece Trinity Layla Nicole Hughes; his great-nephews, Douglas Logan Hughes and Carter Laine Hughes; his nephew Jonathan D. Hughes "J. D." (Sammi K. Lyon); his great-nephews, Klayton Wayne Welch, Seth Michael Welch, Landon Dale Hughes and Trenton Shon Hughes; his great-niece Isabella Kay Hughes; his niece Kara Wishon (Nick); and his great-nephews, Braxton Wishon and Brantley Wishon.
