With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Timothy Smith of Wichita, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph and Justine Smith (Mulhearn); and his brother Mark Edward Smith. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Smith (Martha) of Las Vegas, Timothy Smith (Madison) of Buford, Georgia and Michael Smith of McPherson, Kansas; his stepdaughters, Jessica Hisamoto (Manabu) of Portland and Nicole Smarsh of Los Angeles, California; and his siblings, Karen Ann Smith of Derby, Jan Marie Shirk (Bill) of Salina, Brian Michael Smith of Minneapolis and Joseph Krause (Janice) of Bennington, Kansas.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery (1208 N College St, Winfield, KS 67156).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can made in honor of Christopher T. Smith to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
