With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher Richard Carson of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Christopher Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Christopher Richard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his father James Carson; his brother Nick; his sister-in-law Cindy Taylor (Jerri); and his parents-in-law, Lee and Ruby Wilks.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Carson (McKey); his wife Carrie; his sister Jenni Douglas (Stuart); his sisters-in-law, Sherry Crozier (Gerald) and Wendy Jacobs (Ernie); and his close friend Larry Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Affinity All Faiths Mortuary (2850 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67217). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Friends Cemetery (13265 SW 180th St, Rose Hill, KS 67133).
