He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Winter and Dessie Winter; his former wife Patsy Lane Winter; and his brother David Winter. He is survived by: his grandchild Merav; his children-in-law, Heather and Dean; his wife Helen Winter of Wichita, KS; his children, Jonathan Winter (Heather) of Wichita, KS and Merav Maxwell (Dean) of Wichita, KS; his stepdaughter Therese May (David) of Atlanta, GA; his brothers, Gene Winter (Gail) of Haysville, KS and Bill Winter (Sharon) of Colorado; and his grandchildren, Isabel Astegiano (Jonah), Octavia Winter, Elias Winter, Azalea Winter, Grace Maxwell, Leo Maxwell and Riley May.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Evangelical Free Church (1825 N Woodlawn Blvd, Wichita, KS 67208).
