She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice L. Walker (Blakey) and Frank G. Walker; her husband Ray; her son Steve Barner; and her brother Cliff Walker.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law LaDonna Barner of Eufaula, OK; her son Mark Barner (Tami) of Bixby, OK; her stepchildren, Mike Shivers of Belle Plaine, Mitch Shivers (Rene) of Strong City, Mark Shives (Becke) of Belle Plaine, Marlene Salsman of Winfield, Melissa Shivers of Newkirk, OK and Mae Smith (Bill) of Eastborough; and her sister Kathy Barner of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in Carroll's name for Grandview United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
