She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry; her parents, Leo Gehlen and Bertha Gehlen; and her brothers, Carl, Eugene and Jerome Gehlen.

She is survived by: her sons, David Gehlen (Holly) and Steven Gehlen (Kerri); her grandchildren, Joseph (Aubrey), Jace, Jake, Colton, Devlin Gehlen and Bryson Osborn; her great grandchild Karson Gehlen; and her niece Alisa Price.

A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association, 535 W Douglas Ave #150, Wichita, KS 67213.
