She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Johnston and Annetta Johnston (Deetz); her husband Billy Joe Powell; her grandson Franklin Austin Pate; and her brother-in-law Larry Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Jo Moore (Jerry), Curtis Powell, Steven Powell, Sherri Powell, Kathy Nunnery (Barry) and Sheila Pottorff (Tom); her grandchildren, Dylan Moore, Ryan Pate, Austin Traffas, Casey Traffas (Havone Champathong), Josh Hoffman, Megan Hoffman and Amber Heimberger; her great grandchildren, Greyson, Kaden, Kyler and Kolston; and her siblings, Cecil Dean Johnston (Marsha), Doris Gibson and Diana Mead.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (12100 E 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67206).
