He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nicholas and Amber Nicholas (Fackler); and his sister Sharon Yoast. He is survived by: his wife Sue Nicholas; his children, Bill Nicholas (Amy), Christy Baty (Randy) and Peggi Nicholas; his siblings, Robert Nicholas (Sharon) and Joyce Neal; his grandchildren, Dalton, Dillon, Hannah, Miranda and Gideon; and his great grandchildren, Kya and McKenzie. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cozine Memorial (11500 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67206).
