He was predeceased by: his father Delbert "Pete" Boone; and his stepfather Keith Hysom. He is survived by: his mother Beverly "Jody" Hysom; his son Austin Wayne Boone; his grandson Nathanial Wayne Boone; his sister Shelly; his brother-in-law Tom Hunsecker; his nephew Blake Hunsecker; his niece Alyssa Hunsecker (Laura Humphrey); and his cousin Kelly. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

“Brian I will miss you. I always loved the fact that you could make me laugh even when I was mad at you. In the past few years we became friends again and I'm sure going to miss you pulling into the yard to park your mo-ped and coming in and cracking jokes and telling funny stories. I think one of my favorite stories is about Slim Shady and the Chaplain. We made a beautiful child together and he has become a great man, and father. Thank you Brian Wayne Boone for being a part of my life.”
