She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Russell; her son Howard DeWeese; her parents, Carey Millard and Mamie Elizabeth Dunlap (Davis); and her siblings, Jack Dunlap (Bernadine), Ernestine, Deed Nickerson (Nick) and Maxine Snyder (Bill).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeff DeWeese, Sherri Malcom and Lori Cook. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
