Bettie June Barrett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie June Barrett in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Brown and Claude Brown; and her siblings, Kay Montgomery, Ami Bateman, Vern Brown, Perry Brown, Vera Stewart, Claude Brown, Albert Lee Brown and Delna Simpson.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her sons, Michael (Julie) and Mark (Tammy); her grandchildren, Olivia, Brett, Andrew and Aaron; her brother Ernest Brown (Debbie); and her siblings-in-law, Leroy Barrett, Marge Morris and Janice Reynolds. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sharon Baptist Church (2221 Oliver, Wichita, KS 67218). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2804 SW Greenlawn Rd, Columbus, KS 66725).
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
