It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Wareham of Whiting, Kansas, born in Highland, Kansas, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred E. Cole and Mary Cole (Bechtold); her brothers, Emmett Cole and Rick Cole; and her brother-in-law John Whetstine.
She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Rob Wareham (Heldi) of Whiting, KS, Doug Wareham (Janelle) of Topeka, KS, Kayla Collins (Mike) of Highland, KS and Julie Porter (Jeremy) of Whiting, KS; her sisters, Virginia Whetstine of Highland, KS, Carol Kilmer (Craig) of Kirksville, MO and Mary Schneider (Ron) of Highland, KS; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Cole of Denison, KS and Kathy Cole of Highland, KS. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
