Betty M. Scheid Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2020, at the age of 90, Betty M. Scheid of Whiting, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty M. Scheid to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter W. Cochren and Captola Marie Cochren (Shannon); and her siblings, June Henoch, Joy Manion, Wendell Cochren and Bill Cochren.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Scheid; her children, Paula S. Scheid (Stephen Rosengren) of Topeka, KS, Marcia Jo Scheid Watkins (Galen) of Whiting, KS and Mark W. Scheid (Glenda Herl) of Topeka, KS; and her grandchildren, Josh Watkins (Erika), Zach Watkins (Cori), Matt Watkins (Kristin), Megan Martin (Anthony) and Jared Herl (Allison). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid, the graveside service will be attended by immediate family only on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Springhill Cemetery in Whiting.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Whiting United Methodist Church or Holton Community Hospital Hospice.
