He is survived by: his wife DeVesta Arlene Smith; his children, Ryan (Rachel Young) of Jefferson City, Montana and Adriane (Grant Bowlin) of Whitewater, Kansas; his siblings, Hiram Young (Mary) of Salina, Charles Young of El Dorado, Floyd Young (Tina) of Kansas City, Missouri, Evelyn Shultz of Potwin, Elizabeth Pugh of Wichita, Kansas and Edna Place of Wichita, Kansas; and his brother-in-law Raymond Smith (Nancy) of Rose Hill.
