She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Houser and Iva Houser (Williams); her former husband Rev. Lawrence "Larry" Oyer; her daughter Marilyn Mathews; her son-in-law Steve Pearson; and her siblings, Charles, Guy, Zimri, Clay, William Henry, Ted Houser, Madeline Fleming, Juanita Houser and Elizabeth Wingert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Monta Jo and Marta Kay; her husband Christian; her daughters, Kay Pearson of Newton and Jo Templin (Michael) of Wichita; her son-in-law Jim Mathews of Nixa, MO.; her grandsons, Ben Hawk of Wichita, Isaac Pearson of Wichita, Kenny Scarpelli of Wichita and Dane Templin (Bethany) of Lakewood, CO; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Scarpelli, Hartley Hagen and Everett Templin.
