He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Gronau and Geneiva Thelma Gronau (Gaines); his wife Judith Gronau; and his brothers, Joseph and Orin Gronau.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Ast of Newton; his children, Kevin Gronau (Sharon) of Arlington, TX, Kenny Gronau of Wichita, Marion Gronau of Newton and Brenda Jones of Wichita; and his siblings, Cline Gronau (Judy) of Newton and June Young of Halstead. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
