She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bowen and Esther Bowen (Liggett); and her brothers, John and Phil Bowen. She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Bowen (Cyndi) of Cedar Point, Nikki Carr of Wichita and Ashley Johnson of Colorado; her grandchildren, Devon, Tyler Leroy, Destiny Carr, Tristin, Gage and Travis Stephens; her stepgrandchildren, Jayda and Jessi Hayes; her great grandchild Lucas Leroy; and her siblings, Mary Lou Cogdill (James) of Marion, Nancy Shanklin of Florence, Dan Bowen (Janet) of Moundridge, Sonny Bowen of Alamogordo, NM and Gertrude Maulm of Goessel.

Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to Good Shepherd Hospice.
